Motor rebuilding for Ampex Tape Recorders

Reel Motors: $75 per motor plus the cost of new ball bearing assemblies (prices vary with type of motor; typically, add $25 to $40).  Service includes brake-drum cleaning and brake-band adjustment.  Add $10 to straighten bent shafts.  New turntable corks installed at no charge.

Capstan Motors: $50 per motor plus the cost of new ball bearing assemblies (prices vary with type of motor; typically, add $12 to $20).  If inspection reveals bent shaft and/or worn capstan surface, additional charges to be quoted before work is completed.

Full-Track Productions reserves the right to return badly damaged motors without repair (at no cost to you other than return shipping).
